Seventy-two nursing jobs will be cut from Ajax and Pickering Hospital and Centenary Hospital, in an effort to slash $25 million over the next three years.
Officials were preparing to cut a total of 220 people from the hospitals’ staff, including the nurses, and close 36 beds, in a bid to balance the books. Read more
