Upholding the motto ‘education with healing touch’, the Azeezia group of medical educational institutions at Meeyanoor in Kollam district is all set to explore new avenues.
The group is planning to start post-graduate courses in their medical college for the academic year 2007-08 (subject to the permission of the Medical Council of India).
According to Krishnamoorthy, chief administrator and advisor of the Azeezia group of medical educational institutions, there will be 100 seats set aside for the PG courses.
Situated in a remote region, the medical institutions run by the Azeezia group is one of the centres of excellence located in the area which benefit scores of students.
The group has a full-fledged dental college and nursing college which have been functioning for the last three years.
For the next academic year, 50 seats are available for students in the dental college. The college has a good faculty and adequate infrastructure facilities.
The nursing college is affiliated to University of Kerala and approved by the Indian Nursing Council and Kerala Nurses and Midwives Council. Read more
