A CHILDREN’S nurse has been banned from her job for a year after stealing drugs from her bosses.Nicola Jane Robert, from Wrexham, North Wales, admitted to a Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing she had stolen powerful painkillers and sleeping pills including diazepam and cocodemol.The thefts occurred while she was working at the Robert and Agnes Hunt NHS Orthopaedic and District Hospital in Oswestry in 2005.

This month the 32-year-old’s case was heard by a Nursing and Midwifery Council hearing in Cardiff. Read more
