For Iowa Central Community College (ICCC) nursing instructor Jane Townsend, it was simply a matter of not enough space.
“I want the best learning environment for my students,” said Townsend, who has been a licensed nurse for 35 years and an instructor at the college for 26 years. “It’s all about my patients and my students. We had been meeting at Wright Medical Center, but with their growth they just didn’t have the space to meet our needs. We needed more room and Tiffini Mericle suggested we look into the Goldfield school building.” Read more
