PUPILS from schools in Wrexham and Flintshire are being given the chance to find out about careers in the health service.
Each year the NHS Open Week, which this year takes place between March 3 and 7, the North East Wales NHS Trust, in conjunction with Careers Wales and NLIAH (the National Leadership and Innovation Agency for Healthcare), visits a number of schools with an exhibition showcasing the many different roles within the NHS.

As well as medical, nursing and therapist careers, the displays highlight the many scientific and technical roles that exist in areas such as pharmacy, clinical imaging and bio-medical engineering, along with support functions in areas such as IT, management, finance and administration, estate management and facilities.
