The Jewish Healthcare Foundation and Pittsburgh Regional Health Initiative is preparing to launch a Web-based training program for medical professionals who are involved in eliminating hospital acquired infections and other quality improvement efforts, the foundation said Tuesday.
The “virtual community for clinicians” will feature the latest findings from demonstration projects worldwide and peer support networks where doctors, nurses and administrators who are involved in process improvement can exchange information, according to the foundation, which is headquartered Downtown. The education and training that will be available on the site will help meet the lifelong continuing education requirements that health care professionals must fulfill. Read more…
