The province and the Saskatchewan Union of Nurses have signed a formal agreement to work together to solve the nursing shortage in Saskatchewan.
This afternoon, a special recruitment team will be leaving for the Phillipines where they hope to hire as many as 300 nurses.
The agreement signed today clears a major hurdle that had stood in the way of a new contract between the nurses union, and the Saskatchewan Association of Health Organizations. Read more
